  • New guy very GREEN!

Hi everyone, looks like you have a really great forum hear I'm really glad I found it! I own a self serve car wash with 4 SS bays and 2 automatics. Due to the economy, weather and the new 3$ car wash down the street I'm not doing so good with income so I'm looking into adding a glass door on one of my SS bays and advertise for detailing. I have a attendant on site that used to do detailing years back at his last job. I have a lot to learn to do regarding price list, brochures ect....
    Thanks for any help!

Personally I think it's a great idea. The two things go hand in hand. But pick up some items and practice on your vehicle and friend's vehicle's first. Nothing worse then someone who thinks an hour of practice makes them a detailer. You can learn _so_ much from MOL that it will make your head spin. But take my word for this... don't talk to friends about what you learn here... they will look at you like you should be committed. 2 bucket washes with a grit guard, micromaring, $16 MF towels, DA machines.... it's all lost of the people I know.
