Hello from Kuwait!

I'm a twenty year old male currently deployed to Kuwait! I'm origionally from the states, North central Illinois to be more precise.
I recently ordered a 2010 scion tC to be picked up when I am home on leave in April. My car prior was a beater, that i never took the care of that i should have. All-be-it, the car was no means a classic, and the body work wasn't worth the time that it would take. Anyway today i was just reading up on what it takes to store a car, and i realized that a common factor or each series of advice was to clean the car first.
And it dawned on me, i don't know how to properly detail a car!
Within minutes i was loured to this site, and sold instantly.
I can't wait to detail that car!
As i've stated i'm new to this, and i have already posted in detailing 101.

Again thank you so very much. This sort of welcome and kindness from strangers is not very common, but very much welcomed!
I've already learned so much. I don't even have my car yet, and it will be all of 6 months until i do have it. But yet even with that, i'm on here all day, reading, learning, interacting.
This is a great group of people on here!

What can i do for this, what do you recommend for that, how do i do this, when do i use that. Ect, of course!
I'm entitled to those questions, that a bit of searching would prove have already been asked, time and time again!
