I am a newbie to car detailing. Recently purchased a used vehicle that I want to "bring back to life". I have decided that learning to do the work myself will be more satisfying than paying someone $400 to $500 to do the work for me. Thanks for providing a forum for a newbie to learn!

I have a 2003 Toyota Tundra Stepside Limited. The truck is black on black. The previous owner did not take very good care of her. I paid someone locally to "detail" the car. Major disappointment. I started doing research on detailing and realized that to really get the detail that I want I will need to travel to the northside of Atlanta, leave my truck, and pay $500 to $1000....or I could learn to do it myself.
