New to detailing, but eager to learn. Been spending a good amount of my free time the last week or so reading the boards here. Seems to be a lot of great info and helpful people here. Right now I have a 2002 passat and a 2001 focus, both dark with a ton of swirl marks. I'm hoping to find the time to get them both cleaned up and protected before winter hits. They both have about 60k miles and get around 3k miles / year. The passat is typically in a garrage and the focus is usually outside. The next sunny day I'm hoping to go out and get some before pics.
