Loaded question with many variables including (but not limited to) the skill of the detailer, tools used, pads used, compound and polishes used, the level of correction wanted/needed, the condition and hardness of the paint, and the geometry of the car itself. For a full sized sedan requiring a moderate level of correction and using a machine polisher and the latest Megs SMAT products (and assuming the detailer has polished more than just a few vehicles) I would say 6-8 hours for a full correction, polish, and wax. For just a polish and wax, probably half that -
