how long should it tack to polish and wax a full size car

    Re: tacking to much time

Loaded question with many variables including (but not limited to) the skill of the detailer, tools used, pads used, compound and polishes used, the level of correction wanted/needed, the condition and hardness of the paint, and the geometry of the car itself. For a full sized sedan requiring a moderate level of correction and using a machine polisher and the latest Megs SMAT products (and assuming the detailer has polished more than just a few vehicles) I would say 6-8 hours for a full correction, polish, and wax. For just a polish and wax, probably half that

      Re: tacking to much time

Detailing questions belong in "Detailing 101," so please take a moment to tell us a little bit about yourself and then create a new thread in Detailing 101 so we can get that taken care of.

      Thank you!
