    Starting Over In More Ways Than One

    Hi MOL! I`m new here and wish to bring my daily driven 2nd gen. red escort back to life and also have some VERY light swirl issues on a 2009 Aqua Blue Chevrolet Colorado LT2 Extended Cab. And hope to even make some friends and then one day go into business in some sore of automotive field. I look forward to getting/giving some more advise on a lot of issues but as for right now I have a well worked in coat of ColorX to remove from the panel I have been working on for a while...hoping for stellar results. *crossed fingers* HAHAHAHA! looks JUST like my car, unfortunately...I miss my fully loaded 92 Honda Accord LX and hope to have another just like it someday, only this time it will get some very nice treatment from me!

        I wish I could welcome you back. As far as I'm concerned, you must earn your way into the communitiy's confidence. The best way to do so is to adopt the posture that you are not here to teach us--you do not have the necessary experience--but you do have everything to learn from the guys who have a heck of a lot more experience than you and I combined. Submit your questions and problem read attentively to the responses. I for one don't like flippant attitudes and I certainly do not like to see any of our faithful members insulted.

        Most of us are adults here. We expect civil and courteous adult behavior. The moderators made the decision to re-admit you to MOL. I honor their decision. It's now up to you to prove to all of us that they were right. I wish you good luck.

        And if I sound like I'm talking to you as your Dad, well, consider that I have four children (all adults) and I do not let tolerate from them incivility, discourtesy, or even stupidity. I expect that to speak and act like adults, not silly teenagers.

                  ty Andy, yes some know what happened and for those who do not I`ll make it short and sweet,


                  I did not register until I felt I was ready to and the straw that broke the camels back you might say was seeing someone have a problem, overlook it or not worry about (compound dried on paint then they had trouble removing it and I felt they had not removed it all) BUT, They Went All The Way To LSP on his worked areas,


                  So I tried to help by mistakenly posting my suggestion of what I would do if I was him into someone else`s thread that the person I wanted to help had replied to. Then someone, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck,.,..whats its name, some 18 year old newbie named Tuck who has made 3200+ posts in 7 months kept responding to my mistakenly placed comments with quirky little gestures and I went off the handle a bit when he suggested banning me. But I digress.
