    Re: Hey, how are you?

I am confused on what your question is.....
Is your question: someone sprayed my car with spray paint, and now I have over spray what can I use, answer: Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kit

Or is the question, how can I make my paint a deeper color with painting it: answer get it repainted or some different waxes might have a similar affect like NXT Tech Wax

          Re: Hey, how are you?

Welcome To The MOL Family And might I suggest that if this "spray paint" is just that or just paint that was "sprayed" like with a nozzle/compressor might make a difference...either way I do not have much faith in the SS kit...I have been let down by the clay EVERY single time I use it as it is meant to be used on new, newer or cars that are not in bad shape to remove above surface pollutants fallout, rail dust, ect and that you might benefit from one of these kits

also make sure you get the lubrication...M135 M34 or Megs Quik Detailer 16 oz and 32 oz...32 oz is usually only $2-$3 more than the 16 oz so if you find 32 oz cheap...grab a few or a CASE! I think they can each be used for lube, might need diluting on one...cant remember which...and you might as well get the wax you`d like along with UQD Ultimate Quik Detailer for topping the wax and adding or enhancing hydrophobic (water fearing) technologies. I hope this helps and please take your time in your next post so more people can help you if they have the ability...have a nice night...

              Re: Hey, how are you?

*NOTE* the 2nd kit (aggressive clay) will be a lot more likely to induce micro-marring that may need following up by a buffing with a da or even a rotary, make sure to KEEP THE SURFACE LUBED! if you do opt for the aggressive kit...the mild should do just right for you unless the "spray paint" is thick or has been bonded to the paint for an extended amount of time.

not sure if you would need to follow up with a rotary

                    Re: Hey, how are you?

Maybe someone else will have a better suggestion but I would go with this clay kit http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/produc...p?T1=MEG+C2000 and use Quik Detailer for lubrication http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/produc...T1=MEG+QUIK+16 the 32 oz. is usually the better deal, and check out these vids on clay barring, should help a bit except he is not removing paint from his paint http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHS9_6ycJuA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0_pFgsjlJk

He also has videos on wet sanding which will more than likely be your next option if the clay does not solve your problem, so that would mean taking back the clay and exchanging it for the right megs unigrit sand papers and sanding block but, keeping the quik detailer 2000 grit/1500/ grit/1000 grit or some other formula. Always following up your sanding with finer sanding to remove your sanding marks. Here is an extra video that should teach you a few little things. Have A Nice Day.

I wouldnt recomennd wetsanding if clay does not work, Probably not the best recomendation for anyone who is new to it. You have a very high risk of causing much greater problems.

                        Re: Hey, how are you?

I was simply saying it might be needed and gave videos on it...sorry for implying that HE would have to do it,I am not aware of the next step in this process so once again I should have said, IMHO! Anyone would be able to do it if they know how at least and if that was his only alternative, seeing as how you did not give him an alternative for if the clay does not work )

                          Re: Hey, how are you?

hard to cause many problems on the problem area, especially if that spray paint IS still there and he is not even touching the car/painted surface.

                            Hi again,

Can anyone with experience in this area PLEASE HELP this guy?? ESPECIALLY if you`re near jersey!

My trying to help has only caused confusion and anger with me and I do not wish to continue to make these much more experienced and courteous people that I look up to more angry at me for trying WAY TOO HARD to help people I do not know.

HERSHIES: tell the forum these things...what make and model of car is it?, the color of the car and overall paint condition? does the entire factory paint feel as smooth as glass? How big of an area was "vandalized" And anything else you can that will help these guys to help.
