    Re: Hi, Name`s Mike

no problem bro...you are one of the ones I am looking up to but I have been unemployed for quite some time and do not have the means to buy "professional grade equipment" to work my "consumer grade" materials with,That`s why I did not like the idea of someone trying to sell me on something that I could have already had but was not using in the "introduction" thread instead of you telling me your name or something of that nature I am only hoping that I can prove to myself and a few choice others that I can become, 1) Successful and happy while doing something I love doing and, more importantly,2) educated about every single aspect of paint correction/refinishing/and even painting and body repair ect later on. I have seen a relative of mine basically waste over 100k on several brand new vehicles in the past 20 years and each one of them was never wax, poorly washed, not maintained much at all, and all of them are now just except for their latest "20k investment in a rip off demo that the sales manager had put over 2000 miles on and messed up the front bumper by what looks like hitting a speed table in the dark without seeing it so now the bumper is unever and they had a recall on a part and the bed had to be taken off to access it and it was put back on crooked, and also...why are the parking lights not sealed on chevrolet coloradoes/gmc canyons? or is it just this one allowing moisture and condensation into the housing and causing quite an eyesore for perfectionists like myself ...I have become quite efficient in other crafts where no one truly EVER becomes a master of and now I have found another and this one (detailing/PC/PDR/refinishing ect looks to have even more to it the other

      Re: Hi, Name`s Mike

I know that I have a lot more to learn and I know to take steps when needed but even if I had twice the know how I have about this field as I do now it still would not change my financial situation/ability to step up to more technical aspects/procedures/materials ect. However I do greatly appreciate the persuasion but, I have to put these things off until I have become more active in this field and have put a little hard earned $ in my pockets from working with my hands and getting to know different vehicle surfaces, thicknesses, and so on. I also take with me the fact that if and when the time comes for me to step up to more efficient/effective/time saving/money making materials and such that there will always be experts such as yourselves and even people just starting out like me who will be able to supply me with pretty much any amount of assistance that I will need other than helping me. Thanks for your kinds words and thanks for this forum, It quite literally could be a "life saver" for me.

Well, no matter what experience you have, newbie or not. A D.A is usually a good investment.
