  • New From Vancouver Canada

Hi, I decided to register finally after reading this forum off and on for about a year or so.

I have 3 cars that a take care of.

My baby, a '92 Miata painted VW TechnoBlue (repainted about 6 years ago) a garage baby now

My grocery getter / winter car / bring dog to park car '09 Subaru Impreza 2.5i WR Blue Pearl

And the better halfs car a '05 Pontiac Vibe (white).

So as you I have my hands full.

After years of hand waxing I have just ordered a PC 7424XP as the Vibe and Subie are a lot bigger than the Miata (the Meguiars buffers are 1- to hard to find in Canada or 2 too over priced in Canada) (this is not a knock against Meguire's but against Canadian resellers)

The products I have been using are

ScratchX (still have some of the original left)
    Deep Crystal Polish (#2)
    Gold Class Clear Coat Wax

And am happy with the results but am always looking for better finish.

On a side note, I have had a lot of experience with power polishing tools, as a past job was polishing acrylic bathtubs with 8" rotary and industrial products. As well as a hobby I polish Alum parts for cars (valve covers, intakes etc) .

    My question is :

I have been looking at the Professional Line of products and trying to decide if I should switch over from the Consumer side???

And then what products to use.

Welcome to MOL! I use a cross section of profesional and consumer side. I love what #7 polish does to my cars, and I really like Gold Class wax. I recently bought some #40 but use interior quick detailer for most everything. It is up to you and what you like. If you do not like something, and you do not meet your expectations, then the worst that can happen is not getting that product again.

    Love the Classics!
