  • Greetings from Irvine, CA

    Hello,
I just bought a new bike motorcycle and want to keep it looking that way. I'm interested in giving it a sponge bath so I don't need to worry for the next four days about cleaning up water spots from the hose.

I used your wax and it looks better than when I drove it out of the showroom!

              Hi HarleyRider,

              Welcome to Meguiar's Online!

Unfortunately, giving your ride a sponge bath will increase the chances of causing swirls. But I'm sure there are other Harley owners here that can give you tips on the best way to keep that bike clean. Post your questions in the Detailing 101 forum.

Note: HarleyRider just happens to be my boss (think Dilbert's pointy haired boss). I helped him detail his new Harley last Saturday and after washing and rinsing it, it's almost impossible to dry.
