  • Meguiar's Rocks!

    Hi folks,
I've been using meguiar's products for about 8 years now and the products are fantastic. From claying to shampooing, polishing and waxing,i found they gave the best results i ever achieved.
My personal favourite is the 3 step deep crystal system.i mean WOW.Treat your car with those three things after claying and nothing comes close.
Meguiar's is not limited to automobiles.I use it on my scale models and the results are exceptional. The most versatile product is plastX! I use this everywhere! We are surrounded by clear plastic display covers.Old mobiles scuffed in your pocket?!0 year old HI FI,great sound but display is scratched and looking dull from all those years of wiping it with paper tissues.plastx is great!

        Re: Meguiar's Rocks!

I'm still working at the controls here! I get lost in forums! yeah,i must've repeated the same thing.Anyway good to meet others here.I try to do the same.Today a girl at a checkout was asking about the shine on my car.Her brother has got a black punto that is 2 years old,and explained his problems with it.i gave the details about buying meguiar's.that should solve the problem.
Tonight i was in a busy car park........my car was the only car that had 'Bling'.There were other clean cars there aswell, but nothing came close to the street light reflections that i achieved with meguiar's!

Keep in touch.Any advice about swirls is always good!

Hey Eddie, thanks for mentioning the PlastX product for use on scale models and stuff. I was wondering about PlastX for this use. I do a lot of work in clear acrylics as well as scale models. I'll give it a try!

That is a beautiful car you've got there!I love Mustangs. The best i can do is have a scale model. There's not much selection for classic muscle cars here.In europe, the cost of gas sees to that! Also parts is a problem.Custom parts:forget it.

Keep in touch! Thanks for the welcome!

Yeah, normaly scale models are not perfect to start with.Especially the plastic windows.Go gently though for the final buff. The plastic is softer than what you would normally use for your car(headlights etc.)

I havn't had time to upload many pics at the moment(Exams!).If you look at my page under scale models,I took a pic of an airbrushed model. If you look at the windshield, you'll see it is crstal clear and smooth as glass. This pic was edited using artweaver. The car was not enhanced or edited in any way.I'll upload the original, sitting on my desk

                    Good luck!
