  • New Guy on the Forum

    Hi all
I am in here to determine how to get rid of swirl marks and holograms on my freshly painted Fiero's hood.

Seems Swirl X is the answer, but I don't have a DA buffer, only an old fashion buffer.

    Welcome to MOL

You should check out the how to section. There are many useful articles:

Here is a link to an article on how to remove swirls by hand:

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

      Thanks for the link Andrew.
Funny I painted the car and also buffed it myself and only the hood has holograms. I buffed it again with Meg 9.0 swirl remover and improved it but it isn't good enough.

I did read here that Meg Swirl X is designed to remove these marks. I need a new pad as well.

Thanks for all the greetings guys. Going back to Finishmasters later this week to see if they agree with using Swirl X to correct my problem.
