    hey all my name is Larry, I have a 04 chevy cavalier and my fiance's 08 scion tC that I like to tinker with. I figured I would join this site to get some extra info on learning how to better myself with detailing. There is alot of good reading on here and alot that I realized I need to learn. So I hope to have a warm welcome and alot of reading on hand lol.

    Below are a pic of the 2 cars.

                Yeah the scion is actually my fiance's car. It's a neat color called waveline pearl. But one thing I have noticed is scions bare minimum paint on the front bumper, there are so many little chips and what not on the front bumper. I try to keep it clay bared polished and waxed with generaly 2-3 coats of wax just as a protective barrier especially for bugs.

                  i don't know what your budget is or how well they work but i know they can put a clear bra on the car, the price was a little up there but if its going to be an on going problem it may be a good investment.

                    I am thinking once we get a new lip kit for the car we will get the front repainted, Hopefully heavier application would make it slightly more durable. I would like them to add a lil extra clear just for the depth, and if it has to be buffed there is plenty to cut into.
