  • Hello everyone

I am new to Meguiars forum,, but know a few from other forums. I am may an advanced beginner in detailing,, recently got a lot of practice with my "new" 1996 Suburban.

I got a lot of knowledge from the former owner of a detail shop in Chicago, and still have some of his products, but now that I have someone with quite a bit of Meguiars knowledge, switching over to those products.

Hey Tom, great to see you sign up here at MOL!

On a personal note I've known Tom from our PT Cruiser forum for several years. He's one of those guys with fantastic mechanical ability and likes to push things to a point that surprises people. He's got a PT Cruiser GT that's been, shall we say, tweaked a wee bit. While completely streetable and comfortable, it will run the 1/4 mile in 12.121 seconds at 115.05 mph.

Tom, with your new found polishing skills I wonder if you can shave that last .121 and get an 11 second run this year!!

Thanks for edit, I had posted the 'burb here THEN saw the other thread, I was going to delete the pics,, but wasn't sure how that would be taken.
