Greetings from Miami. I wanted to join the forums because I want to learn more about car detailing in general, but more specifically solving a paint problem. I have a 1995 Toyota 4Runner that has serious oxidation problems on the hood. I'll post pics as soon as I learn how and where to. I've always been a car geek when it comes to washing and keeping it clean, but I don't know that much about waxing and polishing.
I've tried some lower end compounds on the hood and it looks shinier, but still dull if you know what I mean. Should I try the Meguiar's compound or something stronger? Thanks for the input. I look forward to reading the forums.
