  • Hi from belgium

Hi, Im from belgium and I drive a thirdgen camaro.
unlike in the states where this mobiles are considered everyday white trash cars. here they are rare ( just like firebirds )
I think in belgium there are maybe 20 of these camaro's driven daily.
irocs ( never seen one )
    firebirds maybe 50 ( V6 )
    and trans ams maybe 10

these cars are so rare that when you go out here, you get VIP threatment and get parked next to the lambo's, porsches, ferrari's,....

[Edit: Picture removed per our Forum Rules. See Rule #8 - Mike Phillips]

the car also got a complete white greyish interior. even the dashboard is white.

Wow, beautiful car, I love the looks of that generation of Camaro and Firebirds! You don't see too many on the road anymore, I think they will be classics one day, especially the rare ones with the L98 350 motor

Since this forum went live in 2004, we have not allowed pictures of scantily clad girls no matter who the sponsor is; we have a wide range of ages of family members that read this forum and we keep it family friendly and appropriate for both children and grandparents.

Most forums are pretty lax on things like this but not this one.

            Again, thanks for understanding...

Very nice Camaro by the way!

                    Re: Hi from belgium

Nice Camaro. I was in your wonderful country two weeks ago on business, very near to where you are; Fleurus/Waterloo/Brussels. What a great place, the people, history, food and wine are all first rate. Belgians ascribe to old-school courtesy and politeness, they also seemed to really like Canadians, all of which I enjoyed.

They asked me what I thought of Belgium as I was leaving. "Belgians are the friendliest, most courteous people I've ever met....except when you get behind the wheel of a car". My gosh, you guys are some of the most aggressive, craziest drivers I've ever seen. I'm sure you all have to replace your horns, suspension and brakes every six months, they all get extreme usage every time you hit the streets. Beautiful country though, loved it.

well euhm to be honest, the law actualy forbids tuning on there kind of way. see it like california, more moronic.

                        thx alot FnF [sarcasm]

                        lets see.

                        2) original motorlocks have to be keepen. together with original turnside of the hood. ( no corvettestyle opening for my camaro )

                        4) only tinted rearwindow if you have 2 side mirrors
                        5) front licence plate in the middle or on side of driver
                        6) rear plate. also in the middel or side of driver
                        30cm above the road
                        enough lighted
                        only 5 degrees turned
must be readable from 90 feet away
                        7)replacement front lights ( non xenon )
                        e- or E-type aproved
                        original color
                        8) replacement front lights ( xenon )
                        e- or E-type aproved
                        original color
needs height regulator ( try putting this on a camaro )
needs washerfluid installation to clean the glass
                        9) if amplifier is more than 500W, must be fused
                        10) front spoiler max 5cm infront of nose
                        11) rear spoiler not higher then highst point of car.

                        17) front and rear wheels may not exceed size original vehicle came with. this means for the camaro min 215 tires. and max 245 tires.
front tires have to be the same width as rear tires unless originall equiped with these.

so no 245 front and 275 rear tires. ( unless on a corvette where this is standard )
