Absolutely new to the forum and if the truth be known new to the world of detailing with a lot to learn. I got to Meguiar's through a friend who informed me that my new toy was "a disgrace". Up until he gave me a tour of the finish, I thought it looked pretty good. Since then, I've learned how to wash a car (I was doing it all wrong), what a clay bar is, the difference between polish and wax and I've even removed about 1/2 of the swirl marks but there's so much more to do.
I've scanned some of the postings and obviously I'm in the presence of folks that have forgotten more than I know so it will be fun and illuminating to benefit from your expertise and experiences as my own knowledge base gets built from scratch.
Hopefully in time, I'll be able to add to the discussions and be of use to the next guy that gets hooked or maybe just wants to make his toy look better.
