    Hi everyone!

    Hi fellow making-cars-look-nice guys, I'm Ian.

    I've mostly been a religious wash/wax kind of guy but this spring I'm going to step it up and try doing some more techniques that involve POWER!!!

    I've been a lurker on this forum for a while and it's helped me learn a lot of the basics of detailing. I don't own a camera that's worth a ****, but someday I'll get some pictures of my 2007 Civic Si and 2003 Evolution VIII up and MAYBE spoil you with some of my 95 Civic coupe (trusty rusty )

    Just thought I'd throw up an intro thread to say hello.

          Thanks for the welcomes.

          Once I get a few bills taken care of, I'm going to start building up my collection. I'm looking towards a rotary buffer to use on my black Civic as practice (can't hurt anything haha).

          I have to do something to pass time... Iowa is boring! haha

              Yeah I figured I'd cross over since this spring I'll probably have some fun stories about wrecking what's left of the paint on my old Civic. HAHA hey, the only way you learn is by doing right!?

                Update:

                Just put my first order in at ADS. I have a G110 Express kit coming, some M105, NXT 2.0, and a couple extra microfibers on the way.

                I think I'm going to try the 105 on my 95 Civic hood for fun (surely can't hurt it haha) and try the 205 on my new Civic and see if I can get rid of the dealer-installed swirls and trails.

                Now... where's spring? I need to apply what I've learned on this forum dangit!

                        Well Friday my first order from ADS showed up. I'm officially a machine-powered detailer now with my G110 haha. They mixed up my order, which seems to always happen to me whenever I get things online, but Rick made it right by shipping me M105 and letting me keep both of the M205.

                        Not that it wasn't obvious before, but I'll be doing business with ADS again for sure!

                        Friday it was a nice 50+ degree day and now it's snowing and cold... March on the MN/IA border is just wonderful for cleaning cars up.
