  • Hello everyone!

Hello everyone from Lancaster, Pa! I've been lurking on this forum for a short time and I felt it was time to sign up and give you guy's some props!
I've always been interested in car detailing, started when my parents made me wash their windows and it grew from there.
I did my first real detail last year when I got my current car, a silver Saturn L200 and I was impressed by the results, did the wifeys car next, black Ford Focus and wasn't so impressed due to the ungodly amount of swirls !
One of my co workers told me that nothing except for Meguiar's goes onto his car and after last year the same goes for me! I just reciently polished up one of our ambulances for a funeral detail and I very impressed by the outcome....so were the head hanchos! Anyways I look here to learn and improve this new found and highly addictive hobby of mine!

Ohh and one complaint that I have, why do you guy's make your product so dang good smelling?!?!?! I almost tasted some that grape smelling high gloss tire gel, stuff smells like grape candy....so very tempting! You guys should put a warning label something along the lines like "Doesn't taste nearly as good as it smells! Besides nobody is gonna see your high gloss intestines anyway!"

    Take care everyone.
For those who fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know.

    Welcome aboard!

I actually complained about these guys adding something to thier products that FORCES my dog to lick my car whenever he can.

They denied all knowledge. Of course. They just want to sell more product!

Thank you guy's! I think Meguire's would rock in the air freshener department. Think of it, air freshener cans with scents of our favorite products. We'd have the best smelling cars in town!

                      Re: Hello everyone!

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Since stumbling onto this forum my knowladge on detailing has grown exponentally! Before I thought wash the car down real good and throw a few coats of wax on and you were good to go, now after seeing all this it makes all my previous detailing efforts seem futile.
I look foward to gaining more insite and growing in my now favorite hobby!
