  • First Post (how to use M105)

    Hey all, new from SoCal...

I need some help, I recently ordered some M105 and a yellow wool pad. I've been trying to get some deep swirls from my paint but they dont seem to come out. Should I be pressing on my rotary because the weight of the machine alone doesn't seem to be cutting it.....

Im using the rotary at about 1800rpm...Thanks!

    Welcome to Meguiars Online!!

I hope this helps, it is from AutoDetailingSolutions.net

Rotary Application: Set buffer to approximately 1500-2000 RPM’s. Use with Meguiar’s Wool Pad. To prime new or dry pads, mist on M34 Final Inspection. Apply M105 Ultra-Cut Compound directly to the paint surface and begin working in a 2’x2’ area with overlapping passes. Continue working until defects or sanding marks are removed. Wipe remaining residue with a Meguiar’s M9910 Ultimate Wipe Microfiber Cloth prior to polishing. For final polishing, choose the appropriate Meguiar’s foam pad and Meguiar’s M205 Ultra Finishing Polish.

I believe so, light to moderate.
Hopefully someone will chime in who has used it on the rotary.
