My first question would have to be....What is the difference between the mirror glaze "professional" products and the basic consumer brand products that you can find at autopart stores.

Re: Hey my name Wes
Your question does come up and it's been answered multiple times but sometimes it can be hard to choose just the right search word to pull up the thread,
It's important to note that Meguiar's history is in formulating products for professional craftsmen that work full-time in the re-finishing industry and at the assembly line of auto manufactures. It wasn't until 1973 that Meguiar's introduced their first products formulated for enthusiasts.
It's more a matter of specific products for specific needs, for example a painter needs an aggressive compound to remove sanding marks after wet-sanding so we offer compounds in our Professional Line. A car owner wants to maintain a clean, new car look in the interior of their car so we offer a number of products for interior care one would be Quik Interior Detailer.
There's also distribution channels that target different markets.
What's most important is choosing the best product for the job and because Meguiar's manufactures product line for multiple industries it can confuse people new to our brand because most of our competitors only make products for one segment of the industry and that's the retail market for cured paint i.e. passenger cars, trucks and suvs.
That's where this forum comes in handy to learn more about our different product lines as well as our Special Events team that work at car shows all over the U.S., our Customer Care Hotline that's available 6 days a week as well as www.meguiars.com, www.carcrazycentral.com www.meguiarsdirect.com, http://marinerv.meguiars.com/ and Meguiar's Rx Plus
(Did I leave anything out?)
Meguiar's technical support is available in multiple different channels to help see our customers through to success.
