  • Greetings from Australia!

Hey guys, long time reader, first time poster.
I have no interest (or skills) in detailing other peoples rides, just my own.

I have been hand detailing (albiet a simple wash and polish) since I was about 12 years old, ocassionaly washing friends and relatives vehicles for some cash. Since then some would say I am a little picky about vehicle care, and love nothing more then spending my day cleaning and polishing!

I have almost always stuck with Meguiars products the entire time I have been in love with detailing cars. (P.s. I only hand detail at home, and dont have the experience or skill of alot of you guys, so dont take offence to me using the word "detaling")

The reason I ended up going with Meguiars for almost everything I use is for various reasons; some of which include Ease of use, shine, and alot of the time most of the Meguiars products smell good enough to eat and I just cant go past that! Especially when someone 20feet away will say "is that your car I can smell?"

Anyway, here is a few photos of my vehicles.
Both vehicles are australian manufactured (I know there are some aussies on here but just adding that for any of you guys that havent seen these Fords before).

    2001 Ford XR8 Ute (5ltr, 5Speed)

and my Fiance's 1997 Ford Fairmont Ghia (5ltr, Auto)
This has won a few trophies over the years at some of the local car shows.
Basically judged and won the classes we entered due to condition and detail put into the car, not for the modifications. (If it wasnt based on condition and detailing, and and was based purely on modifications we wouldnt have picked up any trophies!)

Lastly, thanks to Meguiars and all of you guys for having such a weath of information and experience shared on this forum.

    Steve
