  • FireBlade, keep the fire burning

    Greetings from Belgium,

i've been following this forum for a while now. I use a lot of Megs stuff but I see that there is more out there then just the consumer products ...
So any help or improvement where possible would be great.
I wash my and my girlfriend's car every week. First I foam them (hyper wash), rinse and hand wash them with NXT.
Then rinse again and I spray some Last Touch on before drying.

Left my Toyota Avensis 2.2 D, FireBlade Repsol 2005 and my Honda S 2000

    My latest adition, FireBlade 2008

I've waxed my girlfriend's Audi only once for now. Washed it, clayed, cleaned with Step 1 cleaner, then Step 2 Polish, NXT wax 1 layer and finished with AutoGlym HD... (( sorry, will use M16 next time ))

    Wax on :

    Wax off :

    ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Thought i'd might post some of my previous treasures :

Corvette 1994 it's very expensive to just keep a car like this in Belgium

My first love on 2 wheels, FireBlade 1994 ... for me this is like watching p*r*

Many thanks for reading and offcourse best wishes for 2009

    Welcome to MOL Fireblade,

You sure look like you know a thing or two about detailing, and we would love to have you around the forums!

Just an FYI we have a universal rule that no clickable links are allowed until members reach 30 posts, so I took the hyperlink out of Autoglym this time.

    Thanks for your understanding.

Where in Belgium are you? My father was born in Antwerp and my mother is from Merksem. We still have family in Leuven.

@ Sven, kom hier ook eens een kijkje nemen, meer leven in de brouwerij
maar ja, Amerika is dan ook beduidend groter dan ons dierbaar Belgiƫ

@ M. Stoop, I live in provence of Limburg now... I was born and raised in Herentals.
Lived a few years in Geel, Dessel and Hoboken (Antwerp) so i know Merksem and i certainly know Leuven

                            Hello there

I want to change my nickname if possible.
After a test-drive with a Harley I probably will be selling 1 or both of my FireBlades.
It's been said to me in the past that it's not wise to choose a brand-related nickname ...

I would like to change it to :

                            JollyRoger
