Hi guys!
Its been a very long time (too long) since I spent a good amount of time on this forum but I have found myself browsing more recently so thought I would reintroduce myself as it has been so long!
Most people know me as Dave KG, I've been detailing as a serious enthusiast for a few years now, and have nearly always had Meguiars products in my lineup somewhere! I have to say my interest in Meguiars as a brand is being sparked more recently by the exciting new products that have been arriving in the lineup, #205 being the one that has grabbed my attention most of all and I am very much looking forward to that arriving on UK shores.
I am a Post Graduate Research Student (Physics) by day, heading towards a PhD, so hopefully by mid-2010 I'll be Dr. KG - all fingers crossed! I also hold down a couple of part time jobs teaching undergraduate students part of the Honours Laboratory Course, and work with our Student Support Services mentoring and assisting students with dyslexia and autism. And I teach dance I do like to keep myself busy! 
My main hobby though is detailing, and I've long had a passion for it, especially machine polishing - its all in the prep after all
I spent many a happy weekend last year travelling the length and breadth of the UK attending detailing meets - and given my other half is American (from PA, near Philli) perhaps I'll see a detailing meet in America soon!
My current car and pride and joy - a Volvo S60 D5 SE... they seemed quite popular in America when I visited, though I guess not with this engine - the 2.4 5cyl 185bhp Turbo Diesel. I love it - quick, deceptively so, amazingly comfortable and returns 45mpg
