  • Crazy New Corvette Owner

    To all:

My name is Steve and I live in Huntington Beach, Ca. I bought my first Corvette on Nov. 13, 2008, after looking forward to it for almost 50 years. I'm 63 but in every way still young! I joined this forum because I want to know how to take care of my car's appearance. I certainly hope it works because this is likely my first and last Corvette. I was very fortunate with my purchase. I picked up a 2006 3LT, Monterey Red Tintcoat with Competition Silver wheels from a local dealer. The car had only 1410 original miles on it. That's right: 1,410! It is showroom in and out (except for some very light surface scratches in one very small area that can only be seen by searching in the right light) and I hope to keep the car in this condition. I don't want to do anything that might harm the paint and I hope this site will help. It's good to be here and I hope to meet some of you personally. By the way, if any of you are Huntington Beach Corvette owner's, let me know. Keep smilin'.

We also have a more casual class called "Open Garage" where you can bring your car to Meguiar's Garage and learn which product to use and how to use them for just about any car care aspect you're interested in.

These run from Daylight Savings Time start in March to Daylight Savings Time end in October.
