  • Hi

I would like to say hi to every one. I am new here and I would like to find out as much as I can about clear coat paints and color sanding.
I have been working on a MGB. Roadster and I have repainted everything on the car.

*After the clear coat I color sanded the car down and after polishing the car I get that deep wet look, But under that brite shine I can see what it looks like very tiny pores. Most people would not see it but I am going for the show room look That looks just like water on the paint.
    Can anyone help me?
Am I doing something wrong? I have sanded it all thge way down to 4000 grit sand paper. It is not on all the car, just in spots. Will wax work or number 7 Meguiars polish?* (This section of your post would be better off in Detailing 101.)

    Thank you
    Bill

    Re: Hi

    Welcome to MOL William,

Just a friendly tip, the introduction forum is not the area to get answers to specific detailing questions, and as such you will not get much help here.

I suggest making a fresh topic in the 'Detailing 101' sub-forum and you will get a much better response there. Once you do that I will edit your original post for you so people can focus on the proper thread.

    Thanks!

    Mark

      Welcome to Meguiar's Online!

Not trying to be hard on any of our new members, but this forum is to "Introduce yourself to the community, not ask how to or product related questions. If we start answering questions in this forum then it becomes a the Detailing 101 forum.

      Make sense?

Here's the link to the Detailing 101 forum which is a great catch-all forum and if you don't know which of other forums to post your questions then Detailing 101 is always perfectly acceptable

      Detailing 101

Simply copy and paste what you already wrote and start a dedicated thread for your project.

      Thanks!
