  • Hello...

I have been reading on this forum for a few months now and figured that it might be time to join. Lots of good information here, and a great resource.

I have been detailing my own cars, and those of family and friends for years, and have tried numerous products from various manufacturers. I always seem to somehow gravitate back to the Meguiar's line of products.

I am currently at the point in my detailing abilities that I am starting to use my rotary for all of my paint correction work, and my DA for more or less just glaze/wax applications.

    My personal tools...
    -PC 7336
    -Makita 9227C
    -Meguiar's 6.5 pads
    -Lake Country pads

        Re: Hello...

        Thanks for the welcome(s)!!!

While I love detailing, it is not my primary occupation(pre-occupation maybe...LOL). I only work on friends/family members rides, and the occasional side job. A lot of my time is spent on my Altima which I enter at a lot of local car shows (tuner/sport compact), and the wife's who also shows her car occasionally.

As to needing 80...That was an omission. I have some of it on the shelf as well.

I take it that you have been through the area Mike? It is a great place. I grew up in SoCal, but moved up here with the rest of the immediate family in '93.

                              Thanks again for the welcome!!!.

I will be doing a detail on a black, 03 F150 for a friend's brother soon. I'll post up some pics of the before and after. The truck was recently detailed by a shop that did a horrible job...Looked more like a simple wash and wax. Fairly nice truck in good condition. Should look great once it is swirl free.
