  • thought i knew how to wash my truck...

until i found this forum! before this site, i would do this:

    wash
    clay (if needed)
    wash (when claying)
    dry (terry towels)
gold class liquid wax (whenever i clayed)

never did the 2 bucket setup or ever noticed working w/ microfiber. on top of that, i never used paint cleaner or polish. whenever i clayed, i waxed and i thought my truck had that showroom finish. boy was i wrong! i never measured the car wash soap (guilty for high pressure soap suds) . anywho i'm done ranting. so far i've added the 5 step cycle, bought some uqd @ Target (2 for $12), dc1, #07, and some mf towels. i'm also planning on purchasing the grit guard buckets, and m110. am i going nuts!?!

Make sure you are having fun, that is super important!
Learning the correct way is just like anything else, it takes time (so don't be concerned if you haven't learned it all)
