Re: New To Detailing
Hi! Maybe I can ask quickly while I have you guys on my thread lol. Long story short, I'm going on a long trip and I don't want rock chips on my car, should I put blue painters tape on my car for the trip? The paint on the hood, bumper, and both front fenders is BRAND new, I just picked up the car yesterday. Would the painters tape mess anything up in the curing process? My body shop said something about letting the solvents out and doing that will be bad, but I'd like a second opinion. Thanks!
