Hello from Toledo, Ohio.
Just a 30 something guy who likes to keep the car clean and looking good.
A little about the car. Black 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart that unfortunately has to be parked on the street and subjected to all kinds of torture.
They constructed a new bridge crossing the Maumee River not more than 300 yards from where I park. So all the concrete dust, dirt, and god knows what else from all the construction vehicles has made its way onto the car.
There was a house that burned to the ground less than 200 yards away, covering the car in ash and soot.
Ghetto children blowing off fireworks in the street and over the car. Car was pretty much covered with exploded mortar shells and leftover powder.
We get alot of snow here in NW Ohio, and to handle the snow we get plow trucks that also throw down alot of roadsalt.
Lets not even talk about the highways and stone chips.
Wondering how many people are seeing this and cringing...hahah
Thankfully Meguiars makes some amazing products and I have been able to keep this car looking damn good. I would say just as shiny as the day I drove it off the lot. Definately alot of work to keep it that way but I tell ya, after a day of detailing and I grab a cigarette and step back and look at the car..I could swear I hear angels singing the praises. Seriously, when I can see a crystal clear reflection in the moonlight WOW.
The interior...I'll just say this. If not for the hint of cigarette smoke (which I am convinced the Odor Eliminator will eventually take care of) and the driver's side floor mat...you would never know how old the car is.
I'm also a guitar player with alot of cool shiny toys. Meguiars has helped keep all my toys shiny and gorgeous looking. I bought a black guitar off of Ebay, tons of scratches and swirls. Amazing what a little bit of #80 and a buffer will do.
