  • New Guy From IN

Hey everyone! Just noticed that I was supposed to post here first. Sorry about that. Anyway, I have been detailing my cars with Meguiar's products for years now and am looking forward to talking with all of you to get the best possible results. I just recently picked up a new Pontiac G8 and I want to make sure that it outshines anything on the road. I look forward to talking to all of you! BTW here is a pick of my new toy.

I cannot say enough about the power in this car! As soon as you step on the gas your *** is planted in the seat until you let off. It's great to pull up next to some kid in a mustang or camaro, who has no idea what the car can do, and blow his doors off!

I know what you mean. I had a WS6TA before I got my goat. The cops may much less attention to the goat LOL! Nice ride! I like that color too. The rims look like they will be easier to keep clean than the 17 inchers on the goat.

The GTs are almost impossible to find on dealer lots in this area. If the paint is anything like the GTO, it will respond very well to #80 and the PC in most cases. If you haven't already, be sure and clay it to get that rail dust off the paint.

Did that the second day I got the car home. After I washed it the first time I could feel it on the paint, felt like overspray over the whole car. I could not believe all the rail dust on these cars! I have determined that the clay bar is my new best friend.

                    Congrats on the new car...

To avoid swirls just make sure that everything that touches the paint is of the highest quality you can obtain, that includes your wax applicator pads, your wipe-off polishing cloths, your wash mitt, your car wash etc.

Thanks guys. I am getting ready to order some new shoes for her and a louder exhaust. Just too quiet for my taste.
