  • The New Guy

    Hello All.

My name is Chris and I live in Greenville, NC. I've never really taken good care of my vehicles exterior. Maybe wash it a couple times a year and if I felt like it, wax it once a year. I just purchased a new 2008 Ford F-150 (my first brand new vehicle) and was looking on how to preserve that brand new shine. I stumbled across this forum, read a few posts and liked what I found. I think I'll enjoy learning from what this forum has to offer.

Welcome and good luck with that monster!!! My father in law has one, which I've detailed twice and it takes quite some time to get it all done, but is worth the time and effort.

You'll see in Ryan's list of links Meg's 5 step approach to car care. Really useful and by following it, not only will retain the new look, but it might even looks and feel better.

Everyone here has there favorites, so for me, I'd say definitely use #7 (Show Car Glaze) in your polishing step and two coats of NXT 2.0. I maintain my cars with a combination of either UQD or NXT spray wax.
