  • Hello everyone, I'm a newbie here

Hey, my name is Trisha and I live on Long Island in New York. My main reason for coming to this site is b/c I am having a very hard time with the single stage white paint on my Honda Accord. I've read Mike's article and am hoping that him or the members on this site can point me in the right direction since I tried just about EVERYTHING. I will be posting in a few minutes. I must warn you now that my post is going to be long and I apologize in advance. Thank you.

    to MOL, Trisha!!

I know how you feel. My truck has ss white and it's hard as granite. But it can be mastered and I actually prefer it over bc/cc white.

Really, you think ss white is better than clearcoated white? I posted on the detailing forum in need of some answers to my problem. I see 14 people from this forum have looked but nobody has given any answers. By any chance, have you had the same experience I have had? If so, can you recommend anything since I feel like I've tried just about everything.

          Thank you.

The only reason some people get lost in thought... is because it is unfamiliar territory for them.

In my own defense... I was off yesterday. When I teach the Saturday class Meguiar's allows me to take Wednesday off, thus the reason you'll often times see my ***Offline Today*** posts on Wednesday morning.

I don't want anyone joining the forum and posting questions to think we're ignoring them but it's not healthy to work 6 and 7 days a week.

Also, discussion forums are not intended to be instantaneous answer machines although we do our best to answer your questions as fast as we can.

I think so. Mostly because there isn’t much (if) any visual difference between ss white and base/clear white and ss paint will never do this: The Clearcoat Failure Archive

Not at all. I find it very easy to take care of. It’s just very difficult to correct when it does get defects.

I do have a thought or two I’ll post in the other thread.
