I don't know beans about cars, or car care, but I do use Megiar's polish on my Martin guitars. How 'bout THAT! Megiar's keeps my rosewood dred lookin like brand-spankin new, and I even buffed out my satin-finished 000-15 slothead til you almost get lost in the depth of it's glossy luster.

But what I was wondering is: do Megiar's Scratch-X (black tube) or the #2 step polish contain any free silica? I'm concerned only because I have heard that silicone can really play havoc with any luthier repairs down the road. I appreciate any input on the subject. thanks.
