  • Mr. Supra from down under!

Hey guys, just thought I'd say g'day. I'm new to serious detailing (Bought a black car, go figure :P) but I'm very interested to learn. I bought a whole heap of Meguiar's products around when I got my car and have loved their effectiveness.

Anyways, I live down in Oz and this is my car...

More than likely I'll be poking around here quite often to try and learn the tips and tricks.

    Cheers.

to MOL. Is that a turbo Supra?
If its fast, loud, and runs on a flammable liquid...count me in.

to MOL, more Aussies joining is always a good thing. Ah and another Croweater!

btw I wouldn't worry about how you black car looks because it looks great on in the pic.

            Cheers

Re: Mr. Supra from down under!

Thanks guys. Sorry I took so long to come back and reply. Busy busy busy.

Nah, it's a lightly modified non-turbo. Only turned 18 two weeks ago so a turbo would really reek havoc on my bank account with insurance. Thanks for the compliments! Worked long and hard for it.

The paint is actually quite beaten up, although it looks ok from a distance. The left hand side of the car has a heap of holograms from where the previous owner must have dusted it down. Bonnet is fairly chipped up too. Nothing a respray can't sort out though!

It looks good to me! What plans do you have for it besides the turbo?

Re: Mr. Supra from down under!

Mod list in the foreseeable future looks something like this...
                      • Upgraded suspension
                      • Leatherette seat covers
                      • Clear front and side indicators (On their way as I type)
                      • Bodykit (Front lip, skirts, pods and new wing)
                      • Respray
                      • Window tint
                      • New wheels
                      • Slim number plate
                      • Boot install sound system (Purchased, waiting to put into car)
                      • Meshed front bar (Actually did this today with a black supra logo sprayed onto it)
                      • When all that's done... 400whp NA-T kit.

Think that's all. I've probably forgot something though.

thanks for your kind words and compliments!

                        Welcome

while black may be the hardest color to keep looking nice it is my first choice in car colors.

                        Nice Supra.
