  • Pip Sir From Wisconsin

Hi Folks! Got the door on my 10th Anniversary silver Saturn SL2 marred by another car door leaving a small scuff and blue paint. No dent. Is there a safe way I can remove the blue paint left by the other cars door and repair the scuff mark? Thanks.

I would start with a clay bar.

Hi and welcome to Meguiar's Online!

First of all you want to start cleaning your work surface, work clean. Clay the area you are going to be working and then you can try using ScratchX with a applicator pad.
If you see that you don't get all the paint transfer out you can try ScratchX using a terry cloth towel and some elbow grease behind the towel.

If you use the terry cloth towel you would like to go back to the applicator pad to get a perfect, scratch free finish.

Remember that at the end of it you want to seal the paint with a good wax
Read the links, this could help you understand how Scratchx works

Because it's has plastic door panels! I have fond memories of my Saturn, a 1992 SL1 that I retired a couple of years ago with 351000km.

I agree that ScratchX will be your best bet. Great product!
