  • Hello! (oops, second post)

So, I got excited, jumped right in and posted my first post in Detailing 101 before seeing that new members must create their first post here.

I recently bought a nice Silver 2004 Mazda 6. This is the first vehicle that I'm passionate about looking nice. Previous vehicles were either beaters (bought one car for $99 from a dealership... the license and plate cost more than car itself!) or my Jeep. Sure, I cleaned my Jeep but it was more of a badge of honor getting scratches and dents from off-roading.

With this vehicle I really want it to shine. I've always like Meguiar's and am really impressed with both their current products and the wealth of information on this forum.

I hope to learn more about taking care of my car and will hopefully one day be able to contribute to these forums.

Phew, that was a long-winded hello.

    Welcome to MOL!

We will forgive you for not posting here first. lol Seems like most people never post here.

Sharp car! I like the Mazda 6's. I test drove one before I got my Jeep. I hear ya too about Jeeps and clean. I keep a shine on it but not swirl free. Have any photos of your 6? We can set one as your avatar then.

This is the only pic I have so far, taken with my cellphone.

When I was in Orlando last year I had to rent something because my family are working all the time and I got a Mazda6, the V6, and it's a great car, very smooth and stable. I like it!
