  • logging in from Toronto, CAN

Hi, just wanted to intoduce myself to this forum. im from toronto, canada and have been using maguiar's products for awhile. BAsically so far i ve been using their three step process. Cleaner, Polish and Wax and have been impressed ever since.

Now im thinking of moving to their mirror glaze products with a dual action buffer as there are so many swirls in the paint.

my first question is that the clearcoat from the driver side fender is coming off, rest of the car is perfect...is there a way i can reapply the clear as the paint is still perfect?

    btw here are some pics..

here is the first time ever i detailed my car

    Before the car got modded...

    After tints...

yes but you will need to take it to a bodyshop have them sand the clear coat down and re shoot it with clear coat. what i am wondering if this car was ever in an accident. if clear coat on a car peels in one section means the car was repainted on that section. if it peels all over it means that it is a bad paint job really as they contaminated the surface of the paint inbetween clear coat and the paint itself.

umm the one panel could be the start of the rest of the car going to start to peel. keep tabs on it

Welcome to MOL. Very nice clean ride.
If you have clear coat failure then a repainting will be in hand to correct this problem
