Not new to MOL but hope to be back!

Well, not really new to the board but I hope to be back posting from time to time... lots of things have been going on since I have been offline(MOL). Many of you know me (gb387 aka Brandon) but for the newer members you are now introduced!



Like I had posted sometime ago on the 'old, new MOL'.... Just remember who is important in you life!

To make a long story short, new g/f a new hobby in addition to Meguiars! I have not forgotten about Meguiars its just been such a long cold/snowy winter here in Iowa that I have not had the chance to wax or really give the Avalanche the attention it needs. As for the new hobby I recently started... its a saltwater fish tank, I got a killer deal on a 2year old 90 gallon 'wavefront' tank compete with fish, live rock and all the needed stuff. I have been eying saltwater fish for several years and finally found exactly what I have been looking for at a price I couldn't pass up.

Welcome back Brandon, it will be good to have you back! I always enjoyed your reviews and comparisons.

Those wavefront tanks are really cool! I almost got into saltwater. My friend and I where talking about it and decided to give it a try. He bought a tank and I bought a book. After reading and watching all the time it took from him I never ended up getting one. Feel free to post some photos of the set up if you want. What do you have for fish?

Glad everything turned out good for you and glad you hear that you are fine.

I know you missed MOL, we sure missed you man!, all your incredible reviews, comparisons, your how-to....just everything. I'll be waiting your reviews of the new products that has been released so I'm counting with that!

My father always has been a "fish crazy" person! He now has two salt water tank, we've had those wavefront water tanks, they are very nice but the one we had was very scratch sensitive so be careful. Just a thing from experience you better have it rested on a good stand, my father had his wavefront in a stand or desk that had a hole in the middle, one day it just broke underneath the tank, you know what happened!! 90gals of water all over the living room, fish on the floor, everything! so...be careful!

I do have a little knowledge in saltwater tanks I guess just enough to be dangerous. I hope to get some photos online soon.

I don't have a salt water tank but I do eat fish caught in salt water!

A year ago I polished out a 200 gallon plastic saltwater tank in a clients living room. His house keeper used the green scruffy side of a sponge to clean it!!

in my house we have 1 95 gallon, 1 65 gallon, 1 25 gallon and 1 10 gallon.... got rid of a 125. They are a TON of work... pretty neat to watch though.

I suppose you could go fishing in my tank? Might not be the biggest catch ever.
