Hello Everyone! New to Forum.

Hello there. I'm new to the forum, but not so much new to detailing. I've been detailing since 2002, but only recently started my own business doing it. I used to work for a company out in Gainesville, FL. I've moved and I started my own thing now.
My business is Wiseguys Auto Detailing and we're based out of St. Augustine, FL which is between Jacksonville and Daytona Beach.

I use mostly Meguiars Mirror Glaze products for all my work. I typically buy all my products by the gallon as well. Right now I generally use the Flex for all paint correction although I hope to get more into the rotaries as my business grows.

If anyone ever hears of any Detailing Clinics or related meets, shows, ect, feel free to fill me in on it! I love going to those things. There's always more for me to learn. You never know where you might pick up some little tricks of the trade up at.

Thanks. I only wish there was more traffic through here. I find a lot of really old posts still on the 1st pages. I was getting excited about some Meguiars meets and realized the posts were from 05.
Still a lot of relevant information on most of them though. I just feel awkward replying to such old threads.

What can you say about the Flex? How does it fair against a G100? What Speed do you set it to polish out defects? I heard a lot of great stuff about it so I have one on the way.

Thats one thing I had to get used to, coming off another forum that has a minimum of at least 200 posting members online at any given point to here where we're talking <20.. but the information is second to none, as well as how nice everyone is.

The Flex is great. Luckily I ordered mine before they were out of stock everywhere. lol. It makes things a bit easier compared to the PC. I usually use speed setting #5 on the Flex for removing defects. My only complaint is lack of options for pads. You can only use the 6.5" right now, although EDGE is supposedly releasing their pad system for the Flex sometime this month. Hopefully they will get that out soon.
