Hello everyone. I've been browsing these forums over the past week, and well, cant get enough of them, so I decided to join. These are the most active detailing forums I have found yet!!
About me... I'm currently 21, and live in PA. I work at American LaFrance Aerials, doing painting, detailing, and final prep, on fire trucks. I've always enjoyed keeping my cars clean, but only started to really get into machine polishing a little over a year ago. I have a few cars under my belt, done with a cheapo Harbor Freight buffer... and am hoping to start a part time business this spring. 2 days ago I purchased a Dewalt Dw849, and am probably going to pick up a random orbital polisher soon too. Most of my compounds, polishes, glazes, and pads, are all 3m. I love their products (its all we use at work), but I plan on purchasing some more Meguiars goodies to see how they do. I have NXT wax, spray detailers, etc all Meguiars and dont have anything but great reviews so far.
Enough about me for now, hopefully I'll be posting some before/afters soon, so I'll talk to ya'll ~Later~
