Mustang owner from Torrance, CA

Hello!! My name is Joy, and I'm addicted to Meguiars!!!!!!!! My husband and I attended the free beginner detailing class at Meguiars in Irvine, CA on Saturday, Jan. 19th. This is where I "discovered" Meguiars online forums! I came here to register for the class and then I clicked right back out, I didn't know there was such a wealth of knowledge here!!!

I own a 2000 Amazon Green V6 convertible Mustang. Believe it or not, it's my daily driver. It's a sexy car, but it is 8 years old, and the paint needs some TLC.





I can barely move my right arm because we have been rubbing away with the Scratch-X all day! But my car is looking so much better already!!

Thanks for this site, we'll be turning to this place for answers quite often, and for a long time to come!!

Well, we had fun that Sunday, killing our arms, and on Monday I ordered the new DA, LOL. It's sitting here next to me, I can't wait to use it!!

What size wheels do you have? How wide?
Whats the drop on your car? I may have to mimic it...

Hello! I love meeting fellow Amazon aka Tropic Green Mustang owners!! I'd love to have a twin up there in Washington! Is yours a V6? Have you been to 3.8mustang.com yet? You can get lots of good ideas about mods in the forums there. My screen name is the same over there as it is here.

My wheels are 18x9 Chrome Bullitts, and I have 265/35/R18 tires on them. I'd like to eventually get 18x10 Deep dish wheels for the rear, with 295/35 tires!

I have H&R Supersport springs, which gave me nearly a 2" drop. I kept all my stock isolators in.

Interesting... wonder how many people that register for our classes do the same thing?

That's why in our classes, as we go through the Power Point Presentation we also try to show people where the subjects we talk about can also be found on the forum.

There's no question asked on the forum that isn't asked and answered on the forum, so yes... the forum is a "Tool" or "Resource" of information that will help you to do the job right the first time and every time.

I had 295/35/18 on the rear, but they were too small!

Great looking car, and one of the rarer colors too!
