  • Newbie checking in....:)

(originally posted in the wrong forum....)

    Hey all
    I drive a 2007 BMW X5 3.0si and a 2004 SAAB 9-3 Convetible.

    That's my baby!

Anyways, I like to take good care of my cars. I don't usually fuss over the exterior, but I am obsessive over the interior.
So I was wondering if it is ok to just wipe down some dirty areas on the exterior with a microfiber cloth and not use any liquid. Should I use a "quick detailer" to prevent scratching?
But for the interior, I currently use "Blue Magic" leather cleaner and "Blue Magic" leather condtioner. Is this stuff any good? I want to find a good multi purpose wipe/spray that will be good on most interior surfaces, cleaning them, but not making it overly shiny. I would use it on the lower part of the doors, footwells, interior plastic and buttons. Is any Megs product good for this?

    Thanks.

    No.

If you do this and there's any dirt on the surface you will risk instilling swirls and scratches into the paint.

Don't know off-hand, maybe someone else will chime in.

Yes, we have a great product for what you want to do and it comes in two forms, trigger spray and wipes.

      Thanks for your response.

I'll pick up a bottle of the Quik interior detailer soon.

Actually, I just got done doing a quick detail (~1 Hr) of my Saab.
      You can see it HERE.

While I have never used your leather cleaner and conditioner, if you are happy stay with it. I had nothing but positive results from megs gold class leather products. nice cars.

Welcome to MOL! Very nice rides you have there! When I first looked at the detailing pictures of yours, I guess I didn't see the captions, and thought there was spilled milk or something LOL! But then I saw the info. Looks great!
