Howdy folks. Like the title says I'm new here, but not to cars and Meguiar's products. My husband ( yep, I'm of the female gender
) and I run a small restoration shop where Meguiar's products are used on a daily basis. From rubbing compounds to cleaners and polish, not a single car leaves our shop without a little bit of Meguiar's on it. Our shop has only two employees; me and the hubby.
Together we put out 2 to 3 show cars a year, many of which go on to become show winners and a few have gone so far as to become national show winners.
Now a little about myself. I have always been something of a moterhead. I have been involved in the autobody trade for close to 30 years. First car I ever owned was a 66' Mustang coupe. I loved those cars so much I ended up owning 6 of them over the years. My last Mustang, a 68' coupe, finally got so tired that I traded the car even up for a 77' Ford Maverick. The Maverick had a 302 which we beefed up a little more than stock. That Maverick would soon become my first show car. That car has been a consistant show winner over the past 9 years, even winning it's class at the All Ford Nationals at Carlisle, Pa. We are just about finished with our newest Maverick, also a 77', and are hoping to have it done in time to make it to Carlisle this June along with it's brother. I can hardly wait! First stop will be the Meguiar's tent to stock up on supplies.
