Re: Another New Guy from Kansas!

Well Hello Neighbor! I rode BMW motorcycles from 1976 to 2003. I used to know quite a few BMW car owners since a lot of the riders had the cars too. I've lived in OP since 1964.....Place sure has changed since then! Bavarian Auto Group?....is that the place around 87th & Nieman, by the car wash? I remember there was a place over there called Bavarian something for years.
    Regards Sonny

Sonny: I moved here in 1972 when AMF hired me to be a District Manager for Harley-Davidson! That lasted 15 years and got layed off when they had their downturn.

Bavarian used to be the franchised dealer off 87th and sold it. Now, he sells pre-owned late model Bimmers (about 100 per year) and I detail/re-condition them. He's right next to Martin City and I have a beautiful shop environment for detailing: lighting out the kazoo, tools, mini lift (what a back saver), etc.

      See Ya around!

Totoland Mach (yea, I also have an 03 Mach 1)

I'm drawing a blank on the dealership. I used to go down to Hafekemeyrs every once in a while. And then Baron built the shop on 79th that Acura now has, and then built the new place on 63rdst/Shawnee Mission Pkwy. Martin City sure has changed too, hasn't it?....
        Regards Sonny
