Another New Guy from Kansas!

Great Forum!....I've learned more here about detailing in a few days then I've learned in 40 years of Ignorant Bliss!,
My name is Sonny, I Live in Overland park Kansas. I've always been a Car and Motorcycle guy. I don't have anything exotic car wise, just a 1999 Saturn SC 3 door. Unfortunately it's White, which is fine, but it just doesn't jump out at you even when clean. My bike does shine though since it's got some nice colors on it.
Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks....I'm 57 and learning everyday. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and say HI! Here's a couple of pics. One of me and my Saturn, and the second with my bike.

Welcome, Sonny! I just joined this week as well - I'm just up the road from you outside Bonner Springs.

Spent yesterday putting the new tools, products, and knowledge to work on my daily driver 80k mile 00 Focus zx3 - wash, clay bar, #80, & NXT on the outside, along with interior & engine compartment detailing. All I can say is WOW - looks better than it ever has!

Great products, and these guys here have some great techniques.

Hey Saleen! I get up around Bonner every once in a while. I work Part time at the Shawnee NAPA and have some deliveries occasionally that way. I Clay Barred the Saturn yesterday, and did the Cleaner/Wax, and then NXT.
I need to go over the hood and trunk with some ScratchX and get rid of some of the Swirls. Havn't got a G100 or PC so I'm working by hand.
Hope to get one or the other soon though!

Thank you very much Rick! I've been a Meguiars customer for quite a long time. I've been lucky to have a good size Auto Paint and supply store only a few blocks away for many years. It's always made it easy to find the best Meguiars product for my every need.

Welcome to the Meguiar's site! I'm a 63 year "young" detailer in Overland Park and work part-time reconditioning pre-owned BMW's for Bavarian Auto Group. This type of work goes beyond detailing as the cars are late model pre-owned and are brought back to "as new" condition.

Holler back when you can. I have a Mustang Mach 1 that's the Garage Queen and a daily driver BMW 330Xi all wheel drive car that's the best daily driver I've ever owned.
