Hello all, I've been Car Crazy for a while (enjoy the show) and decided to post this msg to let you all know about my first detail this past weekend. After reading for days and carefully selecting my Meguiars products, I decided to spend a few hours detailing my first new car!!! I just ordered a 2007 Mustang GT, Tungsten Grey 5 speed and have been waiting for a nice day to clay/wash/wax it. Well, I washed it(touchless as it was too cold and not that dirty), dried with MF's, clayed/dried, polished (deep crystal #2), and waxed (NXT liquid). Came out great! First time ever using clay. I also protected the black plastic outside before waxing with the NXT tech protect. I used only MF towels to dry/polish and actually used 2 MF mitts to remove the wax (one on each hand). I've worked at a car wash in my youth and really enjoy keeping all my cars clean. This time was extra special since it was my first new car! I ran out of time to do a 2nd coat of wax so I'll be putting that on asap after another good washing, hopefully by hand this time. Thanks to Meguiars for a great group of people with great products I can afford!

I had to turn around and head back home before enjoying my afternoon cruise. I just broke 1,000 miles so it was time for a little right-foot fun! It was a great day...
