Well lets try to get back on the right foot. I started with a PM to mike phillips before reading the intro saying not to but post questions on the forum. I followed that with a mention of items for sale cheap and upset a few others. SSSOOOOOOOO to start over might be in order.
I'm just an old codger that has been married to the same gal for 37 years and drives a tractor trailer to pay the bills. I have a love for anything automotive and now that the two babies are out of college and married it's time for dad to play.I have a 2002 firebird convt that only comes out on sunny days.A 70 impala that dad bought new (rust bucket) that I have been searching swap meets the last 5yrs for parts.Got a 331 hemi to drop in it (retirement project) to be a little different. I try to do my own work inhouse as opposed to having it done by others. Its probably not as good but a lot more satisfying. So bear with me as I try and learn the art of detailing and I'll try and keep the mistakes to a minimum. Paul S.

Paul we're very happy to have you on board, many of us are much like you in that we like to do it ourselves, you'll find everyone on this forum to be helpful and friendly. Once in while conversations can turn south, but it's usually just a misinterpretation of communication, rarely ever is there any harm intended.

Now how about a picture of the rust bucket and the Hemi engine, that sounds like a great retirement project!
