  • Hello

    Hey everyone,

My name is Tim. I am new to the forum, but not new to obsessing about the apperance of my Jeep. I have a daily driver 99 Cherokee, but my baby is my 1994 Jeep Wrangler with a 318 FI V8 w/ 7.5 in of lift and 35 inch BFG MT's on M/T classic locks.

Here is what I am thinking about doing....
    - Starting of with claying the whole thing with the Smooth Surface Clay kit
    - Next polishing with Body Shop Professsional Hand Polish
    - Then waxing with Hi-Tech Yellow Wax
    - Do I need to use #21 after?
    - Then finally polishing the wheels with All Metal Polish, and then NXT All Metal Polyish because I am super picky about my wheels.

    What do you guys think?
    Thanks in advance.

    Tim

        Re: Hello

Sounds like a good plan. I've never used the body shop polish, so I can't give you any advise on that. You don't have to use #21. But if you do, I'd put the #21 down before the Hi-Tech Yellow Wax. And make sure you have a good ladder to reach that thing. Wow, 7.5" lift on 35's... Sweet.

I also think your product selection is fine, if you wanted to go 'all out' you could add a paint cleaner but its not totally necessary.... I have used #81 hand polish and won't give it up! Are you going to be doing this by hand or PC?

          Something like:
          -Wash
          -Clay
-Paint Cleaner (Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner, this works well by hand or PC and is very gentle. There are other paint cleaners or cleaner/polishes that work well.)
          -#81 Hand Polish
          -#21
          -#26
