I voted for "other" as I don't believe that the other choices listed are appropriate for every finish (nor are they mutually exclusive, you may find that some combination of them or none of them is appropriate for a given finish).
If I may quote Mike Pennington, Meguiar's Director of Training; "Evaluate the surface, choose the right product, and use good technique."
